Perfect little crossbody for nights out. I bought this Chanel clutch for a friend's wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The black calfskin with light gold hardware is so elegant, and the diamond quilting is classic. Despite being compact, it held my phone, lipstick, and card case easily. The half-moon back pocket was great for quick access to my keycard. The chain strap is comfortable for all night dancing. Highly recommend for any formal occasion or even casual daytime if you carry minimal essentials.
Beautiful but chain is heavy. The design and craftsmanship are impeccable – the diamond quilting and CC logo are iconic. However, the chain strap is quite heavy for its size. After a full day of walking around the city, my shoulder felt the weight. Also, the half-moon back pocket is too narrow for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. It's still a lovely bag for evenings when you're mostly sitting, but not ideal for all-day use. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could.
Versatile clutch or crossbody. I love that this can be worn two ways. The chain strap is detachable so I use it as a clutch for dinners and clip it on for shopping trips. The interior leather lining feels luxe. Only downside is that the open pockets inside are small – just fit a lipstick – but the main compartment is roomy. Overall, a fantastic investment piece.
