Hermes Nata Clemence Picotin Lock 18 Gold Hardware D38LV

My new favorite bag. I was hesitant about the price for such a small bag, but after owning this Picotin for three weeks, I understand the hype. The Clemence leather in Nata is incredibly soft and the color goes with everything. I love that it comes with a lock and keys, though I rarely use the lock. The interior being unlined actually makes it lighter. It holds my cardholder, lipstick, and a small water bottle. The gold hardware is stunning. Truly a timeless piece.

Nice design but leather scuffs easily. I like the aesthetic of the Picotin Lock 18, but I’ve noticed the Clemence leather shows scratches and scuffs very quickly, especially in the light Nata color. I’ve only used it for a month and it already looks worn. Also, the handle drop is a bit short for my taste. The gold hardware is pretty, but for the price, I expected more durability. It’s okay for occasional use.
